I’ve been mulling this over for a couple of days so wondered if you could help. What is the difference between denying yourself a food (In your prison) and talking yourself into not wanting to eat it, ie I will feel bad if I eat too much. How do you get over this comparison and what do you do to stop eating. What if you overeat on ‘healthy foods’?

I’ll answer your first question on Sunday as it’s the heart of the problem around choice: “either I deny myself the food or I feel bad if I eat it”.
Your second question about overeating healthy foods comes down to your motivation to eat less of them; is there any benefit to you? It might take some time to see what that is. (Also see next topic on feeling effects of food.)
