I’m an admirer of the food writer and TV chef Nigella Lawson, both for her books of recipes and her TV shows. I love the pleasure she takes in good food and good company, and how these often go together.
I thought though that the interview below would be of interest to ELO-ers, particularly when Nigella talks about the effect that her mother’s eating disorder had on her attitude to food as a child. I know some here also inherited beliefs about food and eating in early life that still have repercussions today.
It’s on BBC Sounds podcasts, and was broadcast by The World Service, so hopefully people will be able to access it wherever they are in the world.
